ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Aug. 20, 2008 – Con-way Freight, a less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier and the largest subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), announced today that W. Gregory “Greg” Lehmkuhl will join the organization as Executive Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Lehmkuhl comes to Con-way Freight from sister company Menlo Worldwide Logistics. In his new role, he will have responsibility for strategic planning and execution of Con-way Freight’s operating network, process design, analysis and implementation;
