Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW) today reported net income for the first quarter of 2011 of $6.9 million, or 12 cents per diluted share. The results compare to a first quarter 2010 net loss of $4.0 million, or 8 cents per share.

ARBOR, Mich. – February 03, 2009 The University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) has joined Con-way Freight to begin field operational testing of an integrated crash warning system installed in commercial trucks under the Integrated Vehicle-Based Safety System (IVBSS) program – a cooperative agreement with the U. S. Department of Transportation.
