HealthMedia, Inc. Appoints New Leader For Digital Health Coaching Business

Ann Arbor, MICH. – August 2, 2010 – HealthMedia, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company and part of the Wellness & Prevention business, announced that Sanjay Gupta will assume leadership for the company beginning August 16. Gupta will be responsible for providing strategic direction and helping to drive continued growth for HealthMedia® Digital Health Coaching solutions for employers, health plans, and other organizations.

Gupta brings over 13 years of leadership experience with Johnson & Johnson in both developed and emerging markets, and has extensive experience in General Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations and New Business Development. Most recently, he was the Managing Director of Emerging Markets in Asia Pacific for the J&J Vision Care franchise. Prior to that role, he was Country Manager, India and Regional Director, Business Excellence, Asia Pacific, joining the region from the Global Vision Care Franchise in Jacksonville, Florida where he held cross-functional positions in the US and EMEA regions.

Gupta holds a MBA in Marketing and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
