Sonic Lunch Starts June 3, 2010

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN, May 27, 2010– Bank of Ann Arbor is pleased to announce that it’s free summer concert series, Sonic Lunch, kicks off Thursday, June 3, 2010.

Bank of Ann Arbor’s Sonic Lunch happens every Thursday from 11:30am to 1:30pm from June 3 to August 26, 2010 (except Art Fair) in Liberty Plaza, at the corner of Division and Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor. It’s a free lunchtime music concert series for everyone that makes downtown the coolest place to be this summer.

“The long term success of Bank of Ann Arbor is based on the over all vibrancy of Ann Arbor,” said Tim Marshall, President & CEO. “We believe that supporting the local arts and culture adds to the vibrancy of this community. The Bank of Ann Arbor Sonic Lunch makes downtown Ann Arbor a cooler place to be on Thursdays over lunch and also supports many locally-based bands who appreciate the opportunity to play in an outdoor park setting. It is fun to see the diversity of the crowds with the little children holding balloons and dancing to the music, moms getting an afternoon out with kids in strollers, many fans sitting in lawn chairs as close to the band as possible, and the large amount of business professionals enjoying a wonderful lunch hour of music.”
