When: Thursday 4/15/10 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Where: University of Michigan Diag. We’ll be in front of the Hatcher Graduate Library. The library’s address is 913 S. University Avenue Ann Arbor, Ml 48109-1190. The back (south side) of the library faces S. University. The front (north side) is where we’ll be.
Who: We have TEA party members speaking as well as Thayrone X from WAAM 1600. Things to know about the Rally:
NO derogatory signs! Keep it family friendly. Call 911 for security issues.
Bring a video camera and record the event. If you notice any type of ruckus, please get a video of it.
No sales of merchandise are allowed on the Diag.
We need to clean up after ourselves. When we’re through, please help clean up any litter. I have two volunteers heading up the cleanup effort. If you would like to help, let me know and I’ll get you in touch with the right people.
We need tents to protect the two sign-up tables and the D.J.’s booth. It’s gonna be a great time. We’re expecting over 1,000 people!

So far the Tea Parties have been nothing but targets for the media. It’s time we wise up. We must change our strategy. Here our my advice:
1. Leave the emotions at the door. Signs proclaiming Obama as the anti-christ are exactly what they are using against you. That is why they call us names, to rile us up and get us to react emotionally.
2. Discourage all of your people from bringing signs that call names, or have even the appearance of violence.
3. Use their rhetoric against them. They claim to be for the poor but in reality their policies hurt the poor. This is where you need to beat them. We strongly recommend you use the slogans on the blog or something similar.
4. Hold sign making parties where you create far more signs than your people can hold. At the event, ask people that are holding inflammatory signs to turn theirs in and use one of yours. Explain to them that you want to create a specific message that illustrates who is really working to help the poor. A nifty side affect of this is that you will quickly identify the infiltrating agitators.
