Despite all predictions that the 21st century would see print eclipsed by electronic media, it continues to play an essential role in our everyday lives and is more powerful than ever.
The Ann Arbor Ad Club (A2AC) is delighted to host a national guest speaker to provide case studies, creative examples, and hard data on the effectiveness of print in the marketing mix. Daniel Dejan of Sappi Papers (a leading North American producer of coated fine paper used in premium magazines, catalogues, books and high-end print advertising) will discuss the exploding changes in the media landscape and examine how print fits into the picture.
Daniel Dejan will provide a discussion on how the print industry can grow its share by proving its effectiveness as part of the communications mix. Using elements from Sappi’s award-winning print, direct mail, brochures, and catalog campaigns, this discussion will demonstrate the truly unique way print adds value to capturing memories, imagination and attention to build brands, sell goods and deliver corporate messages. “We are delighted to bring a preeminent speaker to Michigan to expound on the advantages of print in reaching consumers and building brands when compared to other media,” says Chad Wiebesick, President of A2AC.
RSVP and buy tickets at www.a2ac.org. The event is free for A2AC members, $35 for the public, and $10 for students. Food, beverages, and networking is from 5:30 to 6:00. The program runs from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Ann Arbor SPARK, 330 East Liberty in Ann Arbor.
Sappi Papers is the preeminent producer of coated fine paper in North America — with a production capacity of 1.3 million tons of paper annually.
