ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov 23, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ — Advanced Photonix, Inc.(R) (NYSE Amex: API) will participate in the second annual LD Micro Conference to be held December 3, 2009 at Luxe Sunset Bel Air in Los Angeles, California. API’s Chairman and CEO, Rick Kurtz, will present at the conference at 4 p.m. (PT) on Thursday, December 3. Management will also participate in a question and answer session following the presentation and one-on-one meetings throughout the day.

API will also participate in the fifth annual SMID-West Stock Conference that is hosted December 10, 2009 by Lambert, Edwards & Associates at the Allerton Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.
