ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) – A new Rob Reiner movie is set to begin filming on the Ann Arbor campus of Concordia University. Called "Flipped," crews will shoot several scenes at the Earhart Manor. Filming should begin shortly. Crews are now working to renovate the manor to accommodate shooting.
"Flipped" is based on Wendelin Van Draanen’s teen novel. It tells the story of a teen romance between Julianna and Bryce. The two meet as children and the story is told from each of their perspectives as their feelings for each other change over the years.
Actors who have signed on to appear in the movie include Penelope Ann Miller, Aidan Quinn, Rebecca De Mornay, Anthony Edwards, John Mahoney, and Kevin Weisman.
