Tuesday, October 14th at 7:30: Sierra Club Book Group started by the local chapter of the Sierra Club, discusses natural history, fiction and nonfiction.

Thursday, October 16th at 7:00: Leslie Walker Williams presents her novel The Prudent Mariner. Winner of the Peter Taylor Prize and the Hackney Literary Award The Prudent Mariner is the exploration of howthe past always finds a way into the present.

Sunday, October 19th at  2:00: Enlightened Minds Book Group

Monday, October 20th at  7:00: Brunonia Barry will be discussing and signing her novel The Lace Reader.

Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00: Katherine Neville discusses her new novel The Fire. The Game established in Neville’s popular novel The Eight, resumes ten years later with a new generation of players and more puzzling clues. This is the adventure novel of the year.

Friday, October 24th at 7:00: San Fransisco Bay Area chef Laura Stec presents her cookbook Cool Cuisine: Taking the Bite Out of Global Warming.
