Ann Arbor, MI – Solidica, Inc. announced today the award of a multi-year contract with the United States Marine Corps to integrate its market leading PantheonTM embedded diagnostic and health monitoring system into a variety of light armored vehicle-based platforms. Based upon Solidica’s award wining ChorusTM vehicle network, sensor interface and vehicle telematics module, the project will support the military’s ongoing Condition Based Maintenance and Sense and Respond modernization programs.
Dr. Ken Johnson, Solidica CEO notes, “Our technology is in most cases 5-10 years ahead of the current competitive offerings in this market as we have approached military embedded diagnostics in a fresh and forward-thinking way. Specifically, we have taken the best of Michigan-based automotive advancements, imbued it with deep military domain adaptations, and created an affordable, scalable and open architecture system that addresses the flexibility and ruggedness demanded by this market.”
Solidica further notes that the recently updated PantheonTM platform adds several new features designed to expand the technology’s use into a wider variety of fleet customer applications that will be unveiled on June 10th at the 2008 Sensors Expo in Chicago (Booth 915).
