ANN ARBOR, Mich., April 21, 2008 - Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE: BGP) announced today that it will hold its annual meeting of shareholders Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern at The Ritz-Carlton, 300 Town Center Drive, Dearborn, Mich. 48126. The record date for determination of shareholders entitled to vote at the meeting is March 25, 2008.
Details of the business to be conducted at the annual meeting are included in the company’s Notice of Annual Meeting and Proxy Statement, which has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and is being mailed to the company’s shareholders on or about April 25, 2008.
